Departure

I'm off to the States for a few weeks. Very much looking forward to it, though probably the blog will be a little more sleepy than it's been (even compared to the recent slowdown).

Here's one parting observation: the city of Wanganui here is proposing that McDonald's, Burger King, and KFC be taxed extra for the extra clean up required by all the extra litter their "excessive wrapping" contributes to the local environment. There's another one I like.
